Programme structure

The BS in Business Administration degree is a four-year degree program.

In the first two years, students will focus on completing the university’s General Education Program (42 US / 84 ECTS credits), which introduces five thematic areas: communication, data and quantitative literature, scientific inquiry, arts and humanities, and social sciences. In the third and fourth year, students will focus on topics relevant to their major. In order to earn a bachelor’s degree, students must complete at least 120 US / 240 ECTS credits, fulfill all of the requirements for the Business Administration degree, and achieve a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher.

The degree is designed to be completed in four years, assuming students complete the required courses and do not interrupt their study. Details about leave of absence, standards of progress, and maximum time allowed to complete the course can be found in the American University of Malta’s Catalog.
